It's been one busy week, glad its over!

So yeah, no updates. First, I had a reaction to Topamax, so that warranted a visit to the eye doctor. Good news, my vision is fine. Bad news, more migraines.
Then, my BIL Uncle J and his girlfriend Aunt A informed me that they needed the invitations for the baby shower by Friday. On Tuesday. So, I spend three days working on them. And overheated my Slice 4 times. And dragged my mom into helping me so I could get done and get some sleep.
Wednesday was the parent meeting for Bri's troop to do Early Bird registration for next year. So I paid the monies due and went on my merry way.
Thursday, my mom helped me assemble the invitations. Which I totally appreciated. And when I was done, I then had to pack for the campout. On Friday. After work.
So, Friday, I was getting ready to run out the door, when a sales rep called me with a quick question. Which wasn't. I finally told her to talk to my manager and left. Later than planned. I should know NEVER to answer my phone!
Go to Bri's school to pick her up from after care. The basement is dark, so they are still in the school. Go to the school and the doors are locked. Great. I see one of the moms from after care walking by and she tries the front door and its still locked. We go to the gym door and pound on it to get the other mom's attention. She opened the door for us and I got Bri and headed to the camp. In the pouring rain.
We camped out in what they called "the Condo." They took the old council building, gutted it and turned it into multipurpose rooms. The building is located on a camp so it works out. However, Friday it rained and rained and we were stuck inside with 13 shrieking 7 year old girls. We did the bridging ceremony two hours late and could not make s'mores or take them on a hike to wear them out. We went to bed two hours later than the leader had planned.
Then the girls decided to get up starting at 5:45 am and all girls were up by 6:30. We fed them at 7 and by 8, were taking a hike and complaining how bad the map was. We made the s'mores for morning snack since it turned out to be nice and sunny and we could FINALLY make a fire.
SO we ate s'more about 9:30, and by 10:30 they were asking for lunch. Sure. Whatever. They were having hot dogs, the moms were having pasta made in the dutch oven. However, most of the girls did not want the hot dogs over the fire, so one of the moms boiled them for the girls. Bri had hers from over the fire.
After lunch, we cleaned up and the girls played. Then we packed up and left. I went with the leader to outdoor mass at the Cub Scout campout. There is more to that, but we'll leave it for when I'm not so tired.
And I'm glad this week is over. Hopefully next week will not be so jammed packed full of fun.
